Eligibility & Post-Wise Qualifications:
Carpenter (Gr-I)
- Matriculation with ITI Certificate in Carpenter trade + 2 years’ relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric.
Clerk-cum-DEO
- Graduate. Minimum 60% at matric or 50% at 10+2.
- Must qualify prescribed test including computer proficiency and typing (min. 30 wpm in English).
- Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric or higher.
- Selected candidates must qualify SETCI & II during probation as required.
Steno-Typist (English)
- Graduate with at least 60% at matric or 50% at 10+2.
- English shorthand speed: 80 wpm and transcription 20 wpm (8% mistakes allowed).
- Word processing speed: 8000 keys/hour or more.
- Computer literacy & Hindi/Sanskrit knowledge up to Matric or higher.
- Must qualify SETCI & II within probation period.
Daftri
- 10+2 from a recognized board.
- Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric or higher.
Peon
- Matriculate with Hindi/Sanskrit from a recognized board.
Note: The prescribed qualifications and experience are minimum requirements. Mere possession does not guarantee shortlisting. University may restrict candidates for further selection based on marks in written/skill tests.
Selection Process:
- Written Test / Skill Test (wherever applicable) — The University will notify the selection criteria and syllabus for each post later.
- Qualifying Marks: 50% general; 47.5% for DSC/OSC/BC/PwBD (as per notice).
- Examination Languages: English & Hindi.
- First Stage: All applicants allowed to appear in written/skill test without prior scrutiny; eligibility will be checked only for test-qualified candidates.
- Further Stages: Shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification, interview (if applicable), and final selection.
- Document Verification & Medical: Original documents will be required when called.
- Experience: Counted only after essential qualification is acquired.
Important: The University may call limited shortlisted candidates for further selection based on marks obtained. The final decision is at University’s discretion.
Scribe / PwBD Provisions:
- Scribe facility and compensatory time (20 minutes per hour) will be provided to eligible PwBD candidates as per Government guidelines.
- Candidates requiring a scribe must apply for the facility in the online form and upload required medical certificates (Annexure-B).
- Scribe qualification should be one step below the minimum qualification for the post; scribe cannot be a candidate in the same examination.
